Every person is at one of three points in their life: You are currently
experiencing a heartache, you just experienced a heartache, or you are
moving towards your next heartache. If that statement is true, then the
following statement is also true. You are experiencing a triumph, just
experienced a triumph or heading toward your next triumph!

It is my prayer that you will find my book to be a book of faith, a story of hope
and a testament to love. In all of our lives we face tough times, but you have
to hang in there. Just as the sun doesn’t always shine, it doesn’t rain
forever either. I still can’t believe that God has blessed me the way he has
and I’m thankful for that. I am surrounded by a lot of great people who give
me the strength to keep going everyday. My book is a story of how
sometimes the underdog comes out on top, when he has the courage to
believe he can.

If you only get one thing from my book, get this: no dream is too big, and if
you’re going to dream, then dream big. You are your greatest fan and your
worst critic. If you want it bad enough and are willing to work for it, you can
have it. Don’t take yourself too seriously. Laugh once in a while, and sing out
loud. Love people and they will love you back. Lastly, remember the Golden
Rule, and do something nice for someone else.
