Return to:

In loving memory . . . .
Edward "Eddie" A. Gadson           10/7/84 - 6/17/05
In my book, I refer to the fact that God has a
plan and a will for each of our lives.  I also
write about how our relationship with God is
usually fine until that moment in our lives
when our wills and God’s will collide.  On
June 17, 2005, our will and God’s will collided
once again.

On June 17th, a former high school player of
mine and current Charleston Southern
University wide receiver passed away
tragically in a car accident.  I was not only his
coach and friend, but one of his biggest fans.
I loved to be around him and loved to watch
him play.  He was home for the summer and
attended training sessions with me while he
was getting ready for his upcoming season.

Eddie Gadson was a special kid that touched
my life and everyone he met in a way that
confirmed God’s love.  Eddie knows how
much I love him and his family.  He will
always be with me and when I close my eyes,
I will always see his smile.

Please pray for his parents and ask God to
wrap his loving arms around and squeeze all
of us a little tighter as we deal with the loss of
Eddie.

Faith, Hope & LOVE!

Tony
